  • Birds are attracted to the beautiful red berries and spread the seed. It is one tough plant to control.
  • If you must, wear pants, long- sleeved shirt, rubber gloves, and boots when digging up the plant.
  • Dig up the plants on a weekly basis. Leave on the ground to shrivel and dry before picking them up.
  • Plant competitive plants in that site.
